We worked with Rhumaa to shoot their collection Obsolete Trash. This collection aims to bring much needed attention to our polluted waters and delivers not just an impact story, but designer styles and fabrics made by suppliers who care as much about the environment and our future as they do.

Every season, they  feature an artist who is as excited about making a difference in the world as they are. This collection’s print is inspired from the artwork of South African photographer, Fernando Badiali. It tells the story of the overlooked rubbish found in our oceans.
Fernando’s is an environmental photographer in South Africa who is passionate about showing people everyday things in different ways.  In this photograph, Fernando captures a single polystyrene cup floating in what looks like a beautiful backdrop, but instead tells a story of pollution, neglect and social disregard.

We worked with Studio Jux on a few last minute campaign and lookbook photoshoots. We scouted the location for their campaign shoot and also provided the models. The campaign photo’s were exibited during the Fashion Week Berlin.

ABOUT THE BRAND
Studio JUX started in 2008 because they believe fashion should be fun and enjoyable for everyone; for the designers, the people working in factories and everyone wearing and using the products. Their name embodies this. ‘JUX’ literally means ‘fun’ or ‘having a laugh’ in German. The studio JUX collection is made in their own factory, women empowerment projects and social enterprises that are based in Kathmandu, Nepal. This means they can ensure safe and healthy working conditions for employees, maximise their social impact and minimise environmental impact at the same time.

The high end streetwear brand MY BRAND contacted us because they wanted to rebrand online. Since October 2019 we collaborate and provide the in house photography. We do weekly lifestyle, campaign and e-com shoots and we source the models.

My Brand is a high-end clothing brand that was founded in 2009 in Amsterdam. My Brand stands for exclusivity, quality and pure luxury, which is reflected in the extensive collections. The collections of My Brand can be recognized by their playful and daring appearance. The production of the collections is done at the highest level. You recognize the luxurious quality materials that are equal to the most beautiful stones, best fabrics and perfect applications that My Brand uses.

BLENDSCAPES is a collaboration between fashion designer Elsien Gringhuis and photographer Tse Kao. The designs of the garments are an abstraction of the landscapes of Schiermonnikoog. Elsien Gringhuis incorporated photographs of Tse Kao of the islander landscapes into the garments as prints. By photographing the garments in the exact same landscapes, they created ‘BLENDSCAPES’.

“Despite the amount of visitors you barely feel that there are other people on the island than you. You can move around without meeting anyone and thus disappear into the landscape. That feeling was the reason for a series of five outfits where you can literally blend into the landscape. ”

‘BLENDSCAPES’ was created as part of Wad & Design Symposium, Schiermonnikoog. The photo’s in combination with the garments were exhibited on the island in September 2016. The series was picked up by the online community and went viral. The story was covered by magazines and blogs from Russia to Indonesia to The United States.

In collaboration with Elsien Gringhuis we made a series original images of people from her network wearing the designs of this sustainable clothing label.
